S'poreans found dead after Cambodia boat accident: police
TEN minutes before 8am on Sunday, the river gave up its first victim.
Fishermen trawling the waters of Cambodia's Tonle Sap found the body of Mr Chee Wei Cheng, 20, washed up on an island a few kilometres south of where his dragon boat had capsized on Friday.
In the end, after divers had searched for nearly 40 hours, the river discharged all five missing young men in less than four.
By noon, all had been recovered: first Mr Chee, then Mr Jeremy Goh Tze Xiong, 24; Mr Stephen Loh Soon Ann, 31; Mr Poh Boon San, 27; and last of all, Mr Reuben Kee En Rui, 23.
The national dragon boaters were still in their team shirts and shorts, now the colour of the muddy river.
Their bodies were spotted floating downstream from the accident site, said police officer Mom Sitha, a member of the search team.
Local fishermen had been enlisted to help as they knew the rips and currents of the area intimately, Phnom Penh Municipal Police Chief Touch Naroth told The Straits Times.
The search site included the confluence of three rivers, the Tonle Bassac, the Mekong and the Tonle Sap, which is prone to strong rips and whirlpools and very hard to navigate by boat - let alone swim.
Mr Touch Naroth said: 'The bodies were found over an area from Hun Sen Park to Koh Pich island. They were in good condition. They were not marked in any way, so it appears the rowers were caught in the current and simply drowned.'
A sixth body was also found, that of a Cambodian rower whose boat had also capsized on Friday, said Mr Nhim Vanda, vice-president of the National Committee for Disaster Management.
For the families of the Singapore rowers, dread became grief, as they grappled with their loss and asked how the tragedy happened.

life is so unpredictable, u do not know wad will happen to you in next second.
gt one photographer said tt she happened to take a picture of the rowers rowing the boat but in next min, the boat capsized.
life is so fragile...

alright, i'm in the lib using com right now.
skip bmt lecture just for the sake of doing bmt reports which suppose to hand in 875562334612 days ago.
arghhh, slackest grp sia, really donno when's the motivation cells come back to us.
don feel like skipping bmt lecture de lar, cos i will be skipping lesson nxt tue & wed due to chalet.
alright, i gonna start doing my report now. if nt, drag till holiday also can't hand in.

lolol alright, i'm planning to go settler for board gaming, ecp for cycling/ddr, sentosa do watever thing tt can do over there like play at the beach,ball games watever, zoo see animals and of cos KBOXing session soon or during holiday.
till now, haven't jio ppl to go settler,i nvr went b4 lar. so noobie. & cycling at ecp, hopefully a nite cycling. it's breezing to cycling along the road toward changi village.c'mon, who wanna join mi..

my bmt buang liao~
completed 5 long qns in just 1hr(?)
b4 started doing the paper, i get to read the paper, tick wad qns i'm gg to attempt later.
and i still tot not that tough eh.
but whos noe, when i took up my pen & started to do, all the ans in my mind all jumping here & there...
so just wrote wad i noe... but is like 5 marks qns, i only wrote 1,2 sentences(?)
structure paper tmr & i only attended the lecture twice throughout 5 weeks of school.

econ paper isit tt tough as wad i've expected.
only tt, it kinda a bit rush to complete 5 mcqs & 4 long qns in just 90 mins.
just 5 mcqs, i need 20mins(?) to cfm the ans.
shldn't wasted so much time there):
but nvm lar, i managed to complete all(:
homed straight away after paper & online till 2pm. den sleeping time(:
slept till 5pm, den tving time till 7pm...
do some revision in the meanwhile watching tv...
10% on notes, 90% on tv...
arghhh... just couldn't get started.
